I have just returned from a business trip and did not get chance to post some of my creations, I need to set up automatic postig, as I have a back log of cards to post.

Today is going to be a crafting day I got up very early to do the cleaning so I can spend the whole day in the craft room.

Its been such an hectic week there has been absoloutely no time for crafting and then to top it all today I had to spend 3 hours clearing the snow from the drive and path. so I can get the car out tomorrow.

Today I thought I would get into the valentine theme, allthough thats not going to help me get my orders done.

Evening all

Hope you have had a better day than me. I have had one of those days at work where everything needs doing urgently.

I finshed this card last night but the light was to dark to take the photo. Its not much better tonight but its the best I can get .

She is one of my favourite images from LOTV. I ahve tried something different with the lace round the edge of the card an made a sentiment from the Cheery Lyn die but only using half, I was not sure how it would turn out but I quite like the finsihed card. I cannot beleive its Sunday already where has the weekend disappeared to.

Today I decide to try something very different for a change and use some bright colours, however the colours dont look great but, as the picutes was taken last night. I have also made my own flowers from the spellbinders die, which I quite enjoyed doing. They are quite easy to make but you have to be very careful not to burn the ends of your fingers with the glue gun:-)

Evening all

Well I returned to work this week and dont I know I am back, its hectic as usual, with lots to catch up on.

I have started the year of well so far with both raising money for the elected 2012 charity and keeping up the crafting. I also forgot about some cards that I had left at the butchers last year and when I went this morning he gave me some proceeds he had raised, so I have now raised over £300 for Cancer Research in 2011.

Anyway today I went totally pink (my favourite colour) with this little cutie and me thinks I will need to buy this one myself. I have used one of the saturated canary images that are appearing all over the blogs and I have to say they are wonderful.

Charity 2012

Morning all

No card yet today, but i am working on it. I have been using my photoshop software that I got for Christmas this morning and designed a new banner for the blog. Its not the final banner just my first attempt.

Last year I raised £290 for breast cancer not as good as the year before, due to my operation I was not able to put full attention to attending the summer fares in order to sell them and was mainly concentrating on special orders. The good news is a have a good stock to sell for 2012.

For 2012 I will be supporting the Alzheimer's charity as my Mum was recently diagnosied with this illness and I want to do all I can to support this charity.

Evening all

I hope you have not forgot me out there. Whilst I have not been able to craft and post I have been keeping up to date with all your creations but not been able to leave any comments. I was so busy the last two weeks before my holiday and just did not get time to craft. My holiday to Cyprus was great and although it was only a week ago since I got back it feels like months.

Anyway today I had to get a card done quick as a last minute order. I got up really early to try and get the crafting juices moving and sorted through all my new digi papers and other bits I had not had chance to look at. I eventually got it together and was very pleased with the end result.

Hi All

I cannot believe that its been over 2 weeks since I posted a card - what have I been doing...............I got into making my own flowers with my new Mcgill flower punches and making embellishments from paper napkins after visiting the party shop for my Mums birthday and saw all the lovely napkins you could get. You just mount it round white mounting board and paint it with matt decoupage paste and its looks so much like fabric.

I also purchased some wonderful paper dollies and they were so cheap 250 for £1.29 - watch our for them soon as it will not be long before I use them, although I have to use my new die cut borders first.

Its been another beautiful day here - summer is well on its way and I hope it keeps up.

Today I started to make this card this morning, but just could not get the crafting juices going, so I kept coming back to it and re-arranging. I just love this image its one of my favourites and I have used my new Doo-Hickory fence and flower die cut. I have also stitched round the edge, although it does not show very well on the photo

Well its been a while since I made a card, I have not really felt like it after my operation. My mum came round and helped me get myself together and asked me to make a card for my neice as she will be 18 at the end of the month and like all Grandmas they want a special card. Well its been a busy day today, we took my Mum and Dad out for lunch and popped to the craft shop tp see if there were any bargains. I managed to get some decoupage flowers in teh sale, whic will be great for the stacks of Mothers Day orders I have.

Evening all

I brought so many new crafting tools yesterday that I did not know which one to use first, so I decided to play with them all before emabrking on this little number below.
